The Miller Show 3-on-3 Tournament

The Miller Show 3-on-3 Tournament

The Chicago Hockey Initiative was thrilled and humbled to be selected as the nonprofit beneficiary of the first annual Miller Show 3-on-3 Hockey Tournament on July 11.  The event is a memorial tournament honoring the life of Chad Miller. Chad was a junior and collegiate hockey player who wanted to expand the game to under-resourced Chicago youth hockey players.  The CHI was honored to accept the proceeds from the event and advance Chad’s mission.

From tournament director Dylan Martin:

From the bottom on my heart I want to thank everyone involved in the inaugural “The Miller Show” 3 vs. 3 tournament. The tournament was a huge success that raised $5,000 for the Chicago Hockey Initiative in remembrance of our fallen legend Chad Miller.

Event sponsors included Styner Sports Training, ESPN Hockey Analyst John Buccigross, Summer Of George Booze Cruise, and HUB International. Donors to the raffle included Studio 38 Designs, Starbucks, Howies Hockey Tape, Mona Miller, George Miller, and former Chicago Blackhawk Reid Simpson. Financial donors included Julian, Ang Nayder, Ang Nicole, Jamie Lynn Durkin, and Andrew Owerko. And as always, huge thanks to Tom Moro and the Johnny’s Ice House staff!
