The Chicago Hockey Initiative had the delightful experience to introduce our Microgrant Program to approximately 130 Chicago Public Schools teachers at Chicago Blackhawks GOAL Program training on Sept. 26! The GOAL (Get Out And Learn) Program combines youth hockey development in schools with the Hockey Goals online learning platform, made available for free to teachers by EverFi. The Hockey Goals platform uses hockey to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) principles. The CHI was able to present our mission regarding growing the game directly to these dedicated educators.
